Pickleball is a racquet sport that combines elements of badminton, tennis, and table tennis. The sport shares features of other racquet sports, the dimensions and layout of a badminton court, and a net and rules similar to tennis, with a few modifications. Pickleball was invented in the mid 1960s as a children's backyard pastime but quickly became popular among adults as a fun game for players of all levels.  Pickleball is also a great game for players with shoulder problems because there are very few shots hit over your head.

The Club will be running free round robins every Tuesday night starting in May from 6pm-7pm.  Demo paddles and balls are always available for free rentals at member services.

Quote from Pickleball Player Greg Love

I’d have say that pickle-ball was indeed a blast to play and would be a perfect new summertime sport to pick up.  Just like anything else, the game will be as competitive as the players on the court…we had some good, fast and fun games.  It is weird playing with a waffle ball and a ‘plastic-like’ type paddle and the scoring and rules take a bit to get used to, but it’s another racquet sport that’s catching on like wildfire!
